Nos.Social is healthier social media. Through our open-protocol social media app, developed on the decentralized Nostr protocol, we are flipping the traditional power dynamics of social media on their head to give users unprecedented control over their experience.
We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to contribute to changing the future of social media on the Nos.Social App. You can have a look at our existing code on Github.
Responsibilities
You should have a strong working knowledge of iOS frameworks and be proficient with the Swift programming language. We are looking for someone who is fairly independent and can work with our designer and product lead to take a feature from an idea to a polished product. Familiarity with the following tools and libraries is ideal:
- SwiftUI
- Core Data
- Combine
- Structured Concurrency (async/await)
- git/gitflow
- Nostr or other p2p protocols
- Slack
- Figma
The salary range for this position is $100k-$135k USD/year. You can have a look at our existing code on Github.
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week with the expectation to be available for meetings during the core work hours of 18:00-22:00 UTC.
You will be joining a small team distributed around the globe. This role will include collaborating with team members in other timezones and attending weekly planning meetings and daily standups.
