Nos.Social is healthier social media. Through our open-protocol social media app, developed on the decentralized Nostr protocol, we are flipping the traditional power dynamics of social media on their head to give users unprecedented control over their experience.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to contribute to changing the future of social media on the Nos.Social App. You can have a look at our existing code on Github.
What you will do
- Collaborate with Engineers to design and deploy infrastructure
- Monitor web services
- Architect CI/CD pipelines
- Implement Migration efforts with application team
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps
- Demonstrated experience with at least 50% of our tech stack
- Our Tech Stack
- Docker & Docker Compose
- Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, Cloudflare
- Github Actions
- Ansible
- Linux
- nginx, traefik
- Prometheus/Grafana
- Bonus:
- kubernetes, terraform, AWS
- Web development experience in Rust, Go, NodeJS
This is a part-time position, 10-20 hours per week with the expectation to work core hours of 18:00-22:00 UTC. The hourly rate for this position is up to $50 USD/hr and can be negotiated based on experience.
You will be joining a small team that is distributed around the globe. This role will include collaborating with team members in other timezones and attending weekly planning meetings and daily standups.
